Satan, we are told in the Scriptures, is wiley–cunning, deceptive. So much so that he has convinced the entire Institutional Church that peace at any cost is high on the Lord’s priority list. It was easy to convince religious man to adopt this attitude because 1) church people do not know God’s Word, 2) church people do not believe most of what they know about God’s Word and 3) church people view all things spiritual through the prism of personal preference. Satan has used liberalism to bring professing Catholicism/Protestantism to her collective knees before him. One of the keys to this phenomenon is the idea that above all, people’s feelings must not be hurt in the name of the Lord. No one is to be told that they are wrong. No one is to be rejected, regardless of their religious bent. God, we are assured, loves them and accepts them as they are. Love, the church proclaims, is the key to winning the world to Jesus Christ. Love, we are told, is a prerequisite to peace, and peace is necessary for the winning of souls.
In the church world all of the above is true. Love, peace, soothed egos, scratched ears, etc. have all been used to build the mega-populated global church. The mustard seed used by the Lord to describe His tiny church has grown into a mustard tree where “birds” do what they do to it. Love, peace, understanding, acceptance, inclusion, etc. have been instrumental in building the two-headed, multiple-bodied religious monster known as “the church.” Left behind, discarded and rejected is the miniscule body of Christ that is God’s church.
I, among a few others, have been assigned by the Lord to speak harsh Scriptural reality to the politically powerful, socially embraced Catholic/Protestant colossus into which Satan has successfully lured billions of people. Unlike Christ’s apostles who spoke truth to power and were martyred for their honesty, Satan’s false prophets coax unsuspecting, unwitting and unlearned God seekers through the wide gate and along the broad way that leads to destruction (Mat. 7:13,14).
I recently heard one of the church’s false prophets speak to his international congregation the following Satanic message: “You are righteous because of what Jesus did.” One could almost taste the love, etc. oozing out from his mouth. The truth is much different. YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DO. Christ’s actions mean nothing unless we obey what He said. What He did makes no one righteous. Nor do His actions save a soul. Faith without works is dead (Jam. 2:14,17,18,20)
Those who neither know Him nor obey the Lord will try everything within their power to prevent a true God seeker from obeying Him. This is especially true within the family. One of the most powerful arguments against going with Him involves His supposed rule about peace within the family and church. Do not be swayed by the devil into believing his spokesmen who tell us that there can be no contention or spiritual warfare among those who “truly love the Lord.” Not so. Those who truly love Him will go to war with anyone and everyone who would prevent them from following Him. L.J.
